I would tend to look at someone who has been manager for a season. And I wouldn't give extra credit for losing the "easy" games but winning the "difficult" ones. And I don't like Allardyce anyway - especially when they show extended TV shots of him chewing with his mouth open.

Silvas record is very good. Hull are a bad side and like above lost two key players when they were already struggling.

Their success was built round Snodgrass and Livermore. Its akin to us losing Keane and Heaton in January and actually doing better!

If we finished 12th then Dyche would have a shout, but just staying up by the skin of our teeth although a good achievement isn't spectacular.

Allardyce made things worse for Palace to start with - remember their shocking 4-0 home defeat to Sunderland. Of late though, apart from the blip at Southampton, their form has been outstanding, especially when looking at who they've played.

MR Dyche without a shadow of a doubt after what the gaffer has built for us. We will finish mid table this season and push on the next. Nobody has built a legacy at Burnley Football Club more than the gaffer.

Silva at Hull for me, thought they were dead and buried, he's showed he can be flexible playing a variety of formations including 352, 541, 433, 4231 and 442.

In fairness when he came in he said it will take them two months before they start to do well. Which has been the case. He wasnt worried after sunderland sign of a man who believe in what he does. And with good reason.

I thought the england failure may be the end of him. But far from it. Vey good at what he does.
