Charlie Adam

Post by Woodleyclaret » Wed Apr 26, 2017 3:29 pm

A replacement for Joey .I can't see Dale Stephens coming now Brighton are up but we need a tougher cm.Personally, though I like Dean Marney I don't see him as a first team starter .A squad player yes.

As we seem intent on raiding Stoke today, Walters and Adam threads. The best business we could do their is Stephen Ireland. Now he can see a pass.

Wouldn't Stephens want to come to a club who has survived a year, than a Fav to go down

We'll likely still be fav's for the drop with the bookies unless Uddersfield win the playoffs.

Wouldn't go anywhere near Stephen Ireland. Also feel Adam is not what we need here - we need more mobility than that with the way we need to play.

But can he "pass" 50 yards then make up said yards in under 3 seconds to get on the end of any flick on/mis-control? ;)

Thought Adam was best midfielder on the pitch in our recent game against Stoke.

What Burnley need is a creative midfielder not someone in the same mould as the present players. It is obvious that Defour does not figure in the manager's plans

A bit of a sweeping statement. As for Mr Sheen, I'm sure he'd give a polished performance.

Not only would Mr Sheen need to polish it but I'd also insist that he double bagged.

I can see an argument for Adam on a two year maybe. As said above, he was their best player at the Turf recently. Has a good delivery on him and despite looking over weight and like he's just got out of bed. He can shift.
I know Stephens still wants to leave Brighton, or at least that was the impression I got in January. I'd hope, assuming we stay up; we're looking for more technically gifted midfielders.

We've got a technically gifted cm in Defour.Sean want grafters and this does not making entertainment.
Sean attempt to win games unfotunately not with the flair we saw last season
Do you prefer winning ugly and staying up of swashbuckling and going down.
I for one want a weekend in Brighton next season watching us win ugly away

You need 2 people for a pass to work, one to make the pass and one to get on the end of. Unfortunately we have neither

Joe Allan was better than Adam against us, for a kick off
