ONeill
Anyone know if we are able to recall him for the last 4 games?

Re: ONeill
I think he's probably best staying on Oldham's bench.

Re: ONeill
With Mee out and Joey gone, Arfield injured, Westwood lacking games and Defour out of favour we are all of a sudden exposed in the middle again.

Re: ONeill
If he's not good enough to get into Oldhams team at the moment he's nowhere near good enough to be near ours.

Re: ONeill
Do you know the reason he's been benched Bordeaux?
He did well for us, so to suggest he's no longer good enough if he isn't playing at Oldham is a tad harsh.

Re: ONeill
He was good enough until he lost his place through an injury and he's been back since via the bench.Bordeauxclaret wrote:If he's not good enough to get into Oldhams team at the moment he's nowhere near good enough to be near ours.

Re: ONeill
Sheridan, the new Oldham manager, went for experienced players to stave off relegation, and succeeded.

I've seen this line pushed on here a couple of times.CleggHall wrote:Sheridan, the new Oldham manager, went for experienced players to stave off relegation, and succeeded.
Sheridan was the Oldham manager who signed him.

Got his place back Easter Monday, was subbed after an hour and then came on as a sub for the last five mins in the next game.ClaretTony wrote:He was good enough until he lost his place through an injury and he's been back since via the bench.

Re: ONeill
After being an unused sub for the previous three games yeah.
Hopefully he'll improve by the start of next season but for now, its hypothetical anyway as he can't play this season, if he can't get a regular game for Oldham he shouldn't be anywhere near being involved in a Premier League squad.
