Re: Notlob Promoted
There seemed to be a few more fans on than the last home game last year.

Re: Notlob Promoted
Pedantic maybe, but surely it's Noblot, as in the Knob lot? Notlob is just their name spelt backwards, so not much of a jibe at them?
Still in trouble financially anyway. 10 years ahead my arse.

Re: Notlob Promoted
Fantastic for themand their fans to bounce straight back but, like Sheffield United, they are both(for different reasons)entering a division that is financially very daunting for them.
It will be difficult for both of them to make an impact next year.

Re: Notlob Promoted
Both Bolton and Rovers have enormous financial problems. Maybe they can consolidate their debts, amalgamate and give us just one club we can't stand, rather than two?
I say yes.
Boltburn Roverers it is then.

Re: Notlob Promoted
We have had this before, and it's notlob, which is indeed a palindrome.
It stems from the famous Monty Python parrot sketch, of which a short extract is in the link below.

So let's not hear any more about it.

Re: Notlob Promoted
Doesn't it have to read the same backwards as forwards to be a palindrome?CJW wrote:Not a fan of the classics then Claretforever? Notlob is a palindrome...
Not my specialist area, but I'm sure that's what I remember from school? I might be wrong.
Edit: Sorry, I'd not seen that Monty Python sketch before. Haha

Re: Notlob Promoted
Python wrong Claretforever correct.
Madam is an example of a palindrome not notlob.
Noblot is what they are as the same as how we refer to Colin aka Neil Warnock
If anything Noblot is an anagram

Re: Notlob Promoted
It's not a palindrome, it's a pun.
