Wasn’t knocked about on seasonal debut and returns to same course and distance with lee riding who won on him at nott last season…seems like a value ew play.

4 45 ARCANISTA is generally 12/1
made my notebook over course and distance on 11 feb when running too wide from a poor draw...has since ran over too short a trip twice and ran over the furlong further 1m 1 1/2 at the track when kelly was slightly short of room at start and made headway until perhaps not staying fully....tody nicola curry rides in this apprentice race and the horse is perfectly drawn in 5...the horse has dropped in the handicap as well...that day on the 11 feb gabriel the thug won off 56...same horse won recently off 62 so is likely to be around 10 lbs higher now....2nd horse athaasel was rated 58 and has won several since and last time out won off 76 so the form of that race is unusually strong....given a proper ride this horse should go close today...I would expect this to be well backed.

ew doubles at all prices are a great bet...and a bet I thoroughly recommend especially if 5 or 8 runners when there is a very short and over bet fav with a solid 2nd fav who is often 5/2 or 3/1 but should be shorter..luck in running can play a part today at ponte and wolves but have to go with both at the prices...utc.

Well completely underwhelmed with both efforts from the saddle today....both remain as horses I will be backing again when conditions are right...lee gave the first one a tender ride to run on for 4th and the 2nd one was tardy from stalls and never got involved...a chance you take with these types of horses.....same story in the 6 05 at Brighton....GYPSEY RIDER likes this track and got a poor ride last time when challenging down rail and getting no luck in running....hoping they stay centre to wide tonight and with donohoe riding he should be able to do that....the horse is currently 18 on betfair....trainer is a poor one...hence the price but given a decent ride has the form to go close.

Cheers...a scruffy win but the only one of the 3 to receive a ride....there was lots of 18s plus available on betfair so a nice tickle...
nothing else on the horses today.
in the footy I have gone
6 points 0-0 half time 15/8
3 points 1-0 monaco half time 9/2
1 point 1-1 half time 9/1

I think Juventus will be tough to break down and could stifle monacos flair....utc.

Thank Happy - missed the first 2 but caught the last one on the way out of work - Thought it ws beaten 1/2 furlong out but fought really well to sneak back up to win.
