Corbyn runs over reporter

Post by dermotdermot » Thu May 11, 2017 12:27 pm

Did he get out of the car to see how the poor fellow was? Of course he didn't. He drove off leaving him to wait for an ambulance.

The drive to ideological purity will inevitably leave casualties behind it.

He will offer him a payment of £2 million in compensation taken from the kitty he is using for new houses, NHS, emergency services, tuition fees and lowering everyones income tax.

Imagine what he could do with 5 loaves and a couple of fish.

 I'm in agony at the thought of Corbyn personally going hell for leather around a corner and taking out a cameraman, maybe even contemptuously throwing £50 out of the window as well before shouting "clean yourself up" and racing off.

I can see why facts and accuracy are so out of fashion right now, it's way more fun making things up.

Dermot: "Corbyn runs over reporter"
An actual thinking person: "was he driving the car?"
Dermot: No
thinking person: So he didn't run anyone over
Dermot: CORBYNISTA!!!!!

For what it's worth i'm glad our most high-profile political targets for assassination can't be so easily pinned to one location simply by someone throwing themselves in front of their mode of transport. Obviously that's not what happened here but does anyone think it's a good idea to have it be possible? If this was Theresa May I wonder if the OP would be more understanding of the security threat such a situation could be. I bet he would.

Why is this news? Car which happens to have Jeremy Corbyn in it drives over cameraman's foot. I hope he's okay, but how does his foot injury really compare to the millions of lives the tories have ruined over the last seven years?

Also in the 70s, 60's, 50's and 40's. In fact you could describe Britain during the war as the closest to a socialist utopia we've ever had.

Agree with that, luckily I no longer vote, I was brought up to vote Labour, however I don't believe there is any party in the UK that can make the NHS great or fill in potholes keep down taxes forever and give everybody on Social Welfare a pay rise, it's a bottomless pit which of course will never be filled.

Let me tell you - make no mistake, the NHS IS great. It might be under-funded, it might have its problems and weaknesses, and it might be currently failing in some areas, but its just about the best thing we've got in this country. You will only fully appreciate this when it gradually disappears over the next few years.

My foot was run over by the school bus when I was 5 years old. Conservative government at the time (late 1950s). I'd not made the connection before now.

Have you had an accident? Where's my compensation?

I could have been a Premier League footballer but for that accident, that and I was nearly 40 when Premier League started. :( ;) ;)

Corbyn's chauffeur? chauffeur? Wow - and he's only the leader of the official opposition? But, he was elected by the largest majority that any political party leader has been elected by, ever, ever. (Or am I confusing him with Trump)?

And my last one...

Was this an assault on the freedom of the press? Without press freedom democracy is lost?

First they came for our photographers, and we did nothing. Then they came for our "message board warriors," and we did nothing. Then they came for you and me.... and there was no one left to protest. (With apologies to the guy who wrote the original...).
