There's enough posts for Labour bashing and plenty of it in the media.
I am thinking of voting Tory for the Brexit deal but I'm not impressed with what they stand for.

The question is 'Since coming to power what have the Tories done to benefit the country?'

Please just keep it to good things they have done (not promising to do) and not making it about Labours faults.

there is more to life (and government) than brexit. brexit is happening whoever wins the election so look at the policies of each party and make your decision from there.

if you're going to base your vote solely on brexit, look at each parties vision of brexit and how they will approach the negotiations.

I thought the academies were Labours idea. I was certainly working on the local ones before the Tories came in power.

With schools asking parents for funding and teachers up in arms, I don't think Education will be the Tories vote winner.

Whoever's idea they were, I don't think Labour are in favour now. Anyway, teachers are always up in arms. One of them was up in arms on here the other day because he had to pay tax on his pension.

Took millions of the poorest paid out of paying tax altogether.

Gave us a referendum that labour or the illiberal antiDemocrats would not have even given us.

Asked the NHS top brass what it needed financially. Then gave it to them.

We're in power while Burnley FC were promoted to the premier league. And saw them them retain their status for the first time. A combination of a safe pair of hands and a strong jaw.

Significantly increasing the income tax threshold was actually a Lib Dem policy (or whatever juvenile name you've given them) so not really all factual, although I do recognise that facts aren't your string point.

Things the Tories have done well:

1. Raised the profile of issues faced by fostered and adopted children (Gove particularly influential)

Things I am not so happy about:

1. Opposed Brexit and lied to try to win
2. Kept low interest rates leading to bubbles everywhere especially housing, leaving young folk off the ladder (BoE also culpable)
3. Social care cuts
4. Raised tax on small businesses
5. NHS underfunded, the £18bn the NHS asked for has not been delivered

That sums up why I am conservative by nature (especially economically) but not a Tory fan.

I am though happy to see if May does it differently. I'm not hopeful.

Still, I'd rather vote for Screaming Lord Sutch than Corbyn, Farron or any of the others. Economic misery. But at least we would be in it together, Soviet style

Taking us back to a low pay economy, used Philip Green as a Tsar for buisiness, food banks, increased debt, failed on house building, raped the education budget for the setting up of free schools for the know it all ponces but don't forget were all in it together.

And as your graph shows, the Tory slump in wages was so severe that it started in 2008 - while Gordon Brown was PM. Oh, wait - from 2008 to 2010 the fall was entirely due to the world recession, wasn't it. And then on the day of the general election, it was evil Tory and Liberal policies that caused the further drop.

This is the problem with most of the "facts and figures" that corbynites post. Many of the deficits are hangovers from the last Labour government. The majority of people understand this and that is the main reason the tory's will walk the general election.
We would all like a free ride. Less time at work. Benefits to boost our income and a nice, recession proof pension. We just don't want our descendents to have to pay for it

Yes, you've just said that. The average wages (in real terms) fell in 2009 and 2010 under Labour, and continued to fall in 2011-12-13 under the Tory/Liberal coalition before recovering. When exactly do the Tories become to blame for the drop? Is it the moment the polls close on election day, or do you give them long enough for the new PM to be appointed?

In the real world, economic policies take a long while to turn round. Obviously it would have been nice if the Tories had given everyone a pay rise on day one of their term in government, but so you think there's a practical way of doing that?
