As high as 8th or as low as 17th as we are only 5 points off both of those positions.

The big 7 clubs are streets ahead of everyone else but only 10 points separate the 8th and 17th placed teams with just 2 games to go.

Where ever we finish it's been a remarkable season and the manager, staff and players have done us proud.

That would pay the players bonuses and still the club with around 12m more.

Read somewhere that our players were going to share a 6.5m bonus which does sound like
a decent amount. In comparison I think Chelsea players are going to share out 5m for winning the title.
Mind you their players are on probably on 3-4 times more money than ours.

Can they all be on 150k+ or is 150k the average?
I'm guessing our average is around the 25k mark.

Bamford was one of their lower paid and he was on more than any single Burnley player, that is why there should be a cap on how much players get and then receive performance related bonuses at the end of the season, maybe make spongers like Bamford try a bit harder.

I would hope that at least half of the £2m per place "merit payments" are going straight into the bonus pool. That would motivate the players for the last couple of games.a long shot, but imagine if we did finish 8th - the "best of the rest" - probably as much as a club the size of ours could ever hope to achieve.
