Re: ***Spot the Ball - Tables update 14-05-17 - Spot the Ball***
Well...I've already started my summer business. I've simply run out of gas. My performances have been nothing short of disastrous. My high scoring defeat in the Spot The Ball Cup, hurt me dearly and it was very hard to put it in the back of my mind when it came to making those difficult selections each weekend.
I've acquired sponsorship for the new season from Specsavers and I've purchased a new golden pair of frames (£30 million). I'm not settling for a lower half finish next year; it simply is not good enough!

Re: ***Spot the Ball - Tables update 14-05-17 - Spot the Ball***
Before the sun goes down on a very productive season, me and Spot would like to thank everyone who has stayed with us, even when there was no chance of winning the league. Much has been made of Buxton and his amazing Crystal Balls but Joe14 and Wilks also scored double figures when it came to Direct Hits.
Unfortunately, Spot is moving on to pastures new next season. If anyone wants to take over the roll, feel free to e-mail me at ralphcoatescomb at aol dot com

Big thanks to Ralph and Spot for all their hard work. The top 3 spots look pretty secure. More than happy with my bronze medal, all being well.
Reckon I'm king of the near misses
Do you think if we get Mrs D to make Spot an omelette he'd change his mind?

a big thank you to Ralph and a big woof to Spot for a great competition this season.
It's been up there with the tinned food count and the Sunday evening quiz.
Hope the competition is run a few times next season!
great entertainment...but I'll never forgive Spot for 'shadowgate'!
ta very much!

agreed, excellent competition, look forward to next seasons with eagerness.
My plan is extra training sessions, oxygen chambers, ice baths, and some better specs.

So it looks like a possible early start to next season for me in the Champions League preliminaries.
No doubt a long journey to Albania is in store
Although if Buxton does the double would that make me automatically qualify?
