Nicko McBrain from Iron Maiden at Toffs in Muswell Hill
Re: Who have you seen in a chip shop?
Saw Tom Heaton in Harry Ramsdens in a service station after Palace away.
He chatted and posed for pics with every Burnley fan who wanted a chat etc, until we all left.
His dad even took over as chief photographer.
Great blokes

He was clearly using jeep in the generic sense, as in a Merc in the style of a jeep, rather than referring to the brand itself. The term jeep predates the brand Jeep.MarkGreen wrote:That is a Mercedes G-Wagon.
Mercedes and Jeep are two different manufactures (Not being an arse, just genuinely wanted to know)

Re: Who have you seen in a chip shop?
I used to go to a chip shop in Barrowford after home games, late sixties. I Was always served by John Murray's sister and she always made a point of asking me "how did our John play?", during this time John period Murray was banging goals in for fun (when we went on the 8 match winning run) so, the answer was 'scored again!'.

I once saw Remco van der Schaaf in the Chippy in Ramsbottom. I also think he was in there longer than he was in a claret shirt!!

Yes, I used to work on Victoria road Padiham at that time. We used to go in the chippy on Friday and half the squad would be in there.Quickenthetempo wrote:The entire Burnley squad at Pendle st chippy in padiham for dinner most days until about 1995 when I left school. I presume better eating came in about that time too.
Great pre-match diet
Re: Who have you seen in a chip shop?
After an evening away match (York i think), I went into KFC on Colne Road, where I saw Glen Little and Paul Weller. Didn't say anything, mind.
