Why is it news? Almost everyday this week on the BBC website it has been reported about, is it really of national importance? I try to ignore it, but as I read the news, the headline is updated. FFS, it's not news.

I know, I'm sorry! But it's driving me mad. I'm going to lock myself in a dark room, with a case of red wine, until it's all over. :D

Its news because of who her sister is and because its all being carefully orchestrated by her mum, much like where she chose Kate went for her education etc.

Her mum isn't daft, her family get more media exposure, her own private businesses will also get more exposure and she will therefore make more money.

Bit like Trump does but no one over here deems it important like they do when Trump's businesses benefit from his current position.

it is a disgrace that we are force fed endless stories and pictures of these wealthy toffs and their parasitic lives.
It shouldnt happen in 2017, quite ridiculous.

Because it has cost something like £430,000 for what is a jolly old **** up, that's why it is news and the fact she's fit.

I think it's sad to see so many snide comments about the wedding on social media. How would you like it if people tried to spoil the happiest payday of your life?

My mother in law tried her best to ruin it, my mum had a little word with her though, I think it involved a threat of violence

the whole thing is utter pap from start to finish, ultra wealthy flaunting their wealth and then the scummy red tops and womens magazines going nuts about it, that is force feeding us.
You'll get idiots copying "That dress" and budget versions of it made so that hundreds of Take a break readers daughters can wear some ten bob version of it when she get married. Its usually derranged types that queue all day in the rain that adore all this crap.
The floral arrangements at the church door were over £30.000, then the endless troop of Lucinda's and Tarquins who own half of Sussex and play polo sipping pimm's and flogging their stories to Tatler magazine !! it stinks, and those that enjoy it are wrong in the head.

I don't know where you live or who you live with, Wile, but if someone is holding you down and forcing you to read scummy red tops and women's magazines, then something is seriously wrong. You need to get round to the police station when your jailer isn't looking and get something done about it.

Virtually everyone else in the world has a choixce about scummy red tops and women's magazines - for example, I dare say I may have glimpsed one in the newsagent, but I certainly haven't read one, let alone been forced to read it. It just isn't normal. You have a problem.

well, if you cannot see the influence these papers or their online versions can have on the populace, then there's little hope for you.
All the big hitters in any political party go to great lengths to cosy up to the media outlet bigwigs.
If you believe general elections aren't affected by journalists then you are beyond help.
These rags and their online counterparts do want you to be royalists and not to question the establishment. Obviously with dimwits such as yourself, half their work is done.
Now, hurry along and get measured up for your dress.

Are you sure you're not getting a bit confused between Pippa Middleton's wedding and the general election? They're not the same thing, you know.

Incidentally, I'm not sure why I'm the stupid one for not reading this stuff, and you're the clever one because you can't stop yourself reading it. Would I become as clever as you if I read the Sun and its friends as often as you do?

pretty simple really, this post was about THE WEDDING , I merely commented on it, therefore it has relevance.
As for your final question....no, you would not.

Estimated cost of the wedding £700,000.00. No, I'm not envious. Although I realise it's an important day, it most certainly is not the most important day of your life and, let's face it, a wedding like this, is not about two people getting married because they love each other, that can be done at a registry office any day of the week, this is showing off. A spitfire fly past at the end, really?

I'm off to open another bottle of red..........
