Post by Dressinggown » Sun May 21, 2017 8:56 pm

Lowerhouse were too strong for Great Harwood in the LCB Cup this afternoon.

The visitors made 239-9 with Lowerhouse professional, Ockert Erasmus, 103 not out.

Harwood were never at the races and were bowled out for 86:

None of the sort.

House go in peace.

There was some poor young lad who was wearing a full Rovers kit. Ridicule, abuse ? Not a peep. Just those knowing looks and a bit of a smile.

Come to think of it he might be playing for them next season.

Burnley beat Settle to book a trip to Chorley - that will be a real test. Read comfortably defeated Ossy Immanuel despite Ossy's pro getting another ton.

How provocative. Someone should have chinned the little scamp.

Only joshing.

Gert Arrod's ground looks like a nice setting from the picture.

Clitheroe beat Kearsley at home comfortably following a nail biting home win vs Tod in the league on Saturday. Good start to the season for the Chatburn Road boys.

There is a pub / restaurant called the Dog & Otter bang across the road from that photo that does lovely food and beer.

It is a lovely ground and clubhouse.
