White Gold - BBC2

Post by fidelcastro » Thu May 25, 2017 12:36 am

Anyone else see this?

I think it'll be a hit. Set in the 1980's with all the yuppee unpleasantness!

I watched a few minutes and changed channel - not remotely funny imo.

Perhaps an indication of the culture at the time, but the foul language
was very much over the top, again in imo.

Oh yes, plus Cats Whiskers, Rose Room etc but not much of a dancer.

Preferred fitness and health for my footy ! ! Miss my footy like mad. so
going to have a look at walking football at the ETC at the turf, probably
on Friday.

I watched the first episode on TV and thought it wasn't great, but I had nothing else planned so watched the second and third on iPlayer and I thought there were some hilarious moments, probably give it a 7/10.

That 1st episode was just setting the scene, but I'd happily watch the next couple.

Only watched it in the first place because our lass fancies the arse off that Chuck Bass off Gossip Girl
