Minute's silence at 11
A nationwide minute's silence is to be observed at 11 a.m. today - can I please ask that you don't post during the minute so we can all show our respect for those who lost their lives in Manchester this week.

Did at Kensington South tube station and it was observed by nearly everyone.
There will always be some with no knowledge or understanding of the situation, to be expected in London.

Re: Minute's silence at 11
Just thinking of my daughters friends father, he was in the foyer when the blast happened.
Currently in one of the Manc Hospitals, finger missing, shrapnel woulds and a large chunk of his leg missing.
Hopefully they will transfer him to York and I'll be able to drop in and see him and try and cheer him up a bit.
Thoughts are with his wife and daughter
