Labour!
Labour!
The wife went into it on Tuesday and gave birth to our baby girl yesterday. Meet Isla Rose, weighing 7lbs 2.5oz.
Shattered but elated!

Well done that man........and Mrs of course.
Kids are the best things about growing up, and no matter how old they get, they will always be your kids.

Re: Labour!
Congratulations. Best wishes to Mum and baby Isla Rose.
Just back from spending the afternoon with my daughter and my 3 months old granddaughter. It's a lot easier when they go back to Mum and Dad at bed time!
PS: Great choice of subject!

(If I could nitpick, Isla Claret would have been a nice alternative.)

Congratulations - may she be a good feeder, an easy winder, a good sleeper and a great smiler (the last is a great reward for any of the others which don't quite come to pass !!) My grandson now 9 weeks old, smiles at me (Grandpa) and it's a wonderful thrilling sight.

Thanks all, lovely comments!
I won't lie, I posted this earlier in my sleep deprived state. Just logged on between nappy changes and was browsing the board, saw the topic 'Labour!' and thought "oh well, yet another politics thread but let's see what it says"...
