Your personal favourite headed Burnley goal
Let the list commence. Video footage would be great if available.
My favourite is Gareth Taylor v Wolves, following some brilliant trickery from the Little Magician, in front of the Bob Lord Stand.

Can't remember who it was against but Austin scored an absolute beauty from the edge of the box.

As soon as I read the thread title I thought of Charlie against Millwall. Best headed goal I've ever seen. Outside the box and the keeper never had a chance.

Oh to have Austin and Tripper back. What a combo! Imagine those two added to the current squad, we could definitely be top half.

I always liked Drissa Diallo's header versus Fulham in the FA Cup.

Might be wrong, but seem to remember Tommy Smith was playing right back . Taffy sprinted by him , on the longside, crossed to the 10 yard box, where Ray Hankin , outjumped Larry Lloyd and planted it past Clemence
We were near the top of the league.
Fantastic goal

It wouldn't be a favourite header thread without Ray Hankin.

That's a good 'un. Watching it back, never noticed, but once it's gone in, someone, I think Lowton? towards the edge of the box turns and proper gives it some to the Brighton player next to him. Hilarious!

Re: Your personal favourite headed Burnley goal
I was privileged to see two of all time great Clarets score great headed goals.Andy Lochead and Paul Fletcher the latter for an average height striker awesome with his spring and ability to power in unstoppable headers.
But in recent times it had to be Sam Vokes v QPR the goal that put us back where we belong ,in the top flight.

Burnley 1-0 Torquay, 4th May 1988
Att: 5,075
Shaun McGrory in the 7th minute.
Cross from the Longside, keeper rushes out, and McGrory scored from the edge of the area. I have a feeling he was playing midfield that day(?), but was often a left full back for us.
Saying that, Eli's bullet header equaliser v Derby in 1992 takes some beating.

Re: Your personal favourite headed Burnley goal
Andy Lochhead was the best header of a ball that I have ever seen, pity there doesn't seem to much video of him in action for the great ones.
The best that I saw was a full length diving head at Arsenal in the early 60's, still got the pic capturing it somewhere.
