Could be one for ClaretTony this one - a few goals from the late 50s / early 60s to identify.

Two each from Brian Miller, John Connelly, Ray Pointer and the great man himself Jimmy McIlroy.

1. Brian Miller - away at West Brom - Sept'60 - won 2-0.
2. Brian Miller - home v. Newcastle Utd - Dec'60 - won 5-3.
3. John Connelly- home v. Man Utd - Sept'62 - won 5-2.
4. John Connelly at Villa Park - FA Cup semi-final v. Fulham - Mar'62 - draw 1-1.
5. Ray Pointer - away at Tottenham - Oct'61 - lost 2-4.
6. Ray Ponter - also away at Tottenham - Oct'61 - lost 2-4.
7. Jimmy Mac - home to Man Utd - Sept'62 - won 5-2.
8. Jimmy Mac - a rare header again at the Turf, but don't know the opposition.

I can certainly remember watching some of those home goals. The trouble is, it seems like yesterday!
