connellys against manure.
pointers two at white hart lane.
the one where pointer catches the ball on the goalline and squares it across the 6 yd box, i think, is on the when we were kings video. so a european cup match?

4. John Connelly at Villa Park - FA Cup semi-final v. Fulham - Mar'62 - draw 1-1.
5. Ray Pointer - away at Tottenham - Oct'61 - lost 2-4.
6. Ray Ponter - also away at Tottenham - Oct'61 - lost 2-4.

8. Jimmy Mac - a rare header again at the Turf, but don't know the opposition.

I can certainly remember watching some of those home goals. The trouble is, it seems like yesterday!
