Over 40 degrees here in Lagos. Sat in my apartment, both French windows open. No breeze and it's nearly 36 degrees inside.

If they were ripped off, wasn't she just wearing knickers!

I would've. But I'm 51 so semi is as good as it gets. 10 year ago it would've been a full blown jaw breaker.

Walked up Pendle this afternoon, stunning views!

A ship in the Irish Sea along with Blackpool Tower and the Pleasure Beach. Lake District and Snowdonia also visible through the haze.

Today. I developed the medical condition known as 'Minty Cracknell' which is, essentially, a large build up of anal sweat. The only remedy seems to be a vigorous application of a 'Vileda Supermop' on the affected area. However. even close family members seemed unwilling to render any assistance despite one owning a 'Ewebank' carpet sweeper.

At 5000 ft above sea level, the vaporizing point of gasoline is much lower as the air is thinner and there is less pressure. So when I drove the two hours back from Albuquerque the other day when it was 103f, I had little 3 second pockets of no power where a vapor bubble would be going through the engine. The way to counter this is to stop every few exits and put a couple of gallons of fresh cold gas in, which lowers the temperature of the current gas in the fuel tank and pump. Until it heats up again, of course, which is another few exits :(

went to Whitstable Saturday, first time to this part of the coast, sat in a wonderful seafood restaurant overlooking the beach (stones :) for 4 hours watching people lug allsorts of paraphernalia down to the beach, particularly those with children. Wandered out at 4:30 pm, walked down to the sea and had a paddle, it was lovely and cool, sail boats out, people swimming and paddling, the walk back to the train station seemed twice as long and the heat was not good, but a lovely day by the seaside :)

Only "partly" sunny.
Not a fan of this, like.
It's up to a 20 mph wind now too, which is the worst part. Like having a hair dryer blow in your face.
