No green at Rangers
Now that might sound obvious but it has now been taken further with new manager Pedro Caixinha having banned his players from wearing green boots because they are the Celtic colours.

The sky is blue and not green.
That's just me thinking of things Rangers fans can gloat about nowadays. There isn't much.

Re: No green at Rangers
One sad and tragic club with ( generally) obnoxious fans, and very few trophies lately, because they couldn't operate within the rules previously.

Re: No green at Rangers
Tony, why don't you post something that Burnley FC fans really care about, like how Wick Academy are doing in the transfer market in Scotland?

Re: No green at Rangers
Saw some cracking Adidas marked down to twenty quid the other month.
Didn't buy them though, cos they were blue and white.
Come to think of it, that's probably why they were marked down.

You're taking me too seriously BoT, although I don't entirely appreciate where Keane's gone. I have a serious case of Danish humour, which always tends to the dark side, although I do come by it honestly.

Re: No green at Rangers
Wick Academy has always been an interesting club to me. I don't think that there is a more isolated club, other than, maybe, Tromso, in Norway. How would you like to be a travelling supporter for them?

Sutherland is always prime territory for the Lib-Dems, which I DO appreciate.

Re: No green at Rangers
No, but you do have to know where it's coming from. It has to do with coming from such a small country, and always being the underdogs. But proud underdogs. (Kind of like Burnley FC.)

Re: No green at Rangers
Rangers fans are the biggest chumps around. Sad gets.
Re: No green at Rangers
As a Rangers fan it's a bit embarrassing that the manager has said this, some of the more brain dead fans will get a buzz from it. It's a bit small time. Who cares what your rivals are doing, make it about yourself not other teams.
Celtic are just as bad, they've got a dominos pizza in the stands and they've made them change the logo colours from red white and blue to just white. Some people need to grow up.

How long has the pizza been there? It will turn green very quickly you would have thought.Dom wrote:Celtic are just as bad, they've got a dominos pizza in the stands and they've made them change the logo colours from red white and blue to just white. Some people need to grow up.

Re: No green at Rangers
Celtic and Rangers are like Burnley and Blackburn now. The only difference is that Celtic have to play the sad ******** about twenty times a year.
The only time we have to see our former rivals is when they're on the Sky box playing the mighty Cod Army.

Re: No green at Rangers
Why? It doesn't help the divided section of the community, but that will never change. People are people and support their club. It's rare to see that pride in a city. Non existent in Liverpool as both sets of fans are basically interwoven. Manchester, well United fans (I've lived there) just don't exist..... If you're a city football club, you have to OWN it. Fair play I say.MACCA wrote:That's pathetic.
Re: No green at Rangers
Yes own your city by signing players from all over the world, selling every bit of club rights to dodgy companies that wreck lives, yet ban players from wearing green boots because your rivals wear green. And by a manager that probably doesn't have a clue about the club's history.ExistentialWanderer wrote:Why? It doesn't help the divided section of the community, but that will never change. I can see your point to a degree. But Burnley (who seemto buck the trend) aside, how are they any different to any other club?MACCA wrote:Yes own your city by signing players from all over the world, selling every bit of club rights to dodgy companies that wreck lives, yet ban players from wearing green boots because your rivals wear green. By being the only club that I know of, to ban players from wearing green boots due to their rivals wearing green.ExistentialWanderer wrote:I can see your point to a degree. But Burnley (who seemto buck the trend) aside, how are they any different to any other club?
Does it apply to white too?
Or any hopped things?
