They've moved provider, so the FL app will no longer work. They're working on another apparently.

Can still watch by going on to the website though, which takes approx 5 seconds longer than opening an app.

I found myself using the website for everything on mobile anyway, rather than the app. I don't think it will be missed all that much.

The content is brilliant now but I did find the video player to be pretty unreliable when I was trying to watch some of the videos yesterday.

It's been absolutely woeful so far. I'm sick of emailing them! The app was excellent but logging in on the website is impossible! It says I'm logged in but I can't watch the videos. It's infuriating!

I was told there wasn't going to be an app - and the club are aware that, as Pearcey, has posted, it has been woeful, or they are certainly aware of the problems. There are still people who can't get on.

According to the site Walters interview is now on player. I pressed on the click here but it appears someone has forgotten to put it on. Either that or my computer has gone on strike.

just had to email the support. Logged in but just a white screen section and nothing else. Does not confirm whether I have logged in or not. Not going to subscribe again, as I am supposedly on a renewing DD, so should be a known customer. Irritating.

This is my reply from the clarets player hd team Ifollow stating that there is going to be a new app
Dear Steve,

Thank you for contacting iFollow support.

Due to ongoing migration, your current apps would cease to function, but new & updated apps will shortly be made available. Giving you the same access to live audio commentary, highlights, and now on-demand replays 24 hours after the end of the live game.

You could sign in into https://www.burnleyfootballclub.com/claretsplayer/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; on your mobile browser to view the latest events; but please verify you have cookies/cache and location services enabled.

Let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.

Regards,

EFL iFollow Support

If they try and ignore the way many folk are now viewing media and try and return Clarets Player to a purely web-based product, they'll lose a pile of customers.

I'll be cancelling if there's no new App in the next month or two.

It then tells you a link as been e-mailed.

As yet no e-mail.

It doesn't recognise my password anymore. Is this what happens when your direct debit runs out.

That's what am waiting to know. After changing password, it accept the new one (I think) but only produces a blank section on screen, when I log in.

Had the same problem not being able to login, the password wasn't recognized. It took upto 24 hours to get the reset mail. Now the login Works. But i have to use my email address and not the username that i used to login With before...
But at first after the login I sat before the white screen With "my information". It took me quite a while to understand that I had to use the "more" button and then click on the Claretsplayer HD, to Access the videos etc.

It's fine then.

I am the same. It logs you into the site not Player. I thought it was supposed to be an improvement but it's not very good on my laptop. It freezes and the sound is out of sync.

Sadly, I input my email and password and get the white screen, full stop. If I try to access the Claret Player, I log in again but nothing happens. If I try to see the videos, I am offered the log in and subscription screen again. no response from the email contact, so might have to complain or just ditch it!

Can someone tell me what the point is in having a training video, for us to watch, at 1000 mph and miles away. The whole session was in about 20 seconds. If they don't want us to know, fair enough, don't put anything on.

ClaretsPlayer is a total waste of time. There is no need for a subscription service with the club raking in hundreds of millions of pounds.

It's time we moved away from some of the drab content. There are people always wanting their face on camera when in fact it should be about the content and not about individual people.

Time to focus on the YouTube channel. Free viewing, new content (not just the same old boring interviews with players and staff) and move the club forward in the media world.

On a previous thread about Clarets Player (started by Grimsby Claret) I commented along the lines of.. I had got fed up with the unpredictability of it working and hadn't renewed for a couple of years. Some comments encouraged me to resign up saying it was all good now, however I didn't bother and this thread appears to vindicate my decision.
