The Lightning Seeds

Post by Bin Ont Turf » Sat Jul 08, 2017 9:44 pm

Were they really any good?

If there was a thread on here asking that very question then I would probably say, yes, they were quite good.

In my opinion, yes. Well crafted, inoffensive pop music, accessible to all.
I bet they're not everyone's cup of tea, but they were quite popular, back in the day.

Great for the era and made some songs that will stand the test of time.

Lucky You, Life of Riley etc.

Yeah 'Lucky You' was the song that came to mind when I read the thread title. Not a band I'd go and see or buy their album, but I liked that tune.

Good band with some top tunes.

I seen them live at Bingley last year. I was a little shocked when a couple of the band appeared to be 20 years old on the big screen though.

Are Echo and the Bunnymen still together? Still listen to them a lot in the car. Would love to see them live.
