Sky sources understand Burnley are keen on Eibar midfielder Gonzalo Escalante.

The Spanish club finished 10th in La Liga last season with the 24-year old playing a key role in their central midfield.

Sky Sources in Spain say Sean Dyche’s scouting team have been monitoring Escalante for the past year and are keen to sign him in a deal likely to be worth around £6m.

All I'm seeing is a bloke who's sharp in the tackle, uses the ball well, and covers a fair bit of ground in not much time at all.
