I'm a Burnley fan and would have made exactly the same decision if offered the same opportunity. He got an England cap on the back of it. Would take a special kind of idiot to think he wasn't right to do it. It certainly doesn't mean he's not a Burnley fan.

Re: Jay Rod goal
When he's 34 probably.
Re: Jay Rod goal
A few facts.
1. He's a Man Utd fan
2. Still a great goal
3. Will always look out for him, Burnley fan or not, because he played for us, and is a local lad.
People put on great Ibra goals, bring up everytime juke or Marvin score, yet scoff at Any time Jay's name gets mentioned on here. He has never had a bad thing to say about Burnley as a team or a place, he is proud of his roots.
I cannot fathom out why so many want him to fail, or try and put him down so much.
Jealousy seems the only realistic reason as to why anyone would want to do it.

Following a local lad doing well for himself, or an ex player scoring?

No, the fact he's a United fan makes him not a Burnley fan. Sadly.Rumbletonk wrote: It certainly doesn't mean he's not a Burnley fan.
