GBM is a death sentence, especially over the age of 70, up there with the absolute worst cancers you can possibly get. I disagree with a lot of what JM says and does but have nothing but sympathy for him in what is going to be the worst 12 or so months (at best) of his life to come.

12 months will be a good run tbh, my mum managed just 6 weeks from being diagnosed.

I hope he and his family and friends can make the most of the time left if it is as bad as reported.

The progression of it is usually rapid, I'm very sorry for your mother. I just assumed he would probably live longer than most his age because he will have access to some of the very best private healthcare in the planet, I doubt sincerely it will be enough though.
