Still as bad an idea as it was a couple of years ago. It's not the NFL, stop messing with it!!

The problem here is that Scudamore is confusing the Premier League with the top 6 clubs. I can't see a stadium full for Stoke vs Bournemouth away in China.

It's an easy issue. If there are 10 clubs willing to give up a home game to play abroad, let them do it. If there aren't, don't. If anyone like Scudamore says they want to skew the competition by making us play Chelsea three times while Swansea play Huddersfield three times, then tell him he's an idiot and ignore him.

And to hell with the supporters of those clubs?dsr wrote:It's an easy issue. If there are 10 clubs willing to give up a home game to play abroad, let them do it. If there aren't, don't. Let's be honest depending on were we asked to play, we could get to a lot of places quicker than an away game at Swansea, B'mouth or Brighton.
If they said play these games at Dublin or Malaga for instance it would be a big yes from me.

If the big 10 want to go and play abroad, let them do it against each other.
Then they'll need to explain to their fans why the more glamerous games are not viewable.
The rest of us can then carry on with the English Premier league.
Be quite refreshing to see Burnley v Huddersfield first on MOTD.

It's up to the directors to decide what's best for their clubs and supporters. If Burnley's directors decide that the best thing for the club is to play Burnley v Chelsea in Hong Kong, then it's up to us to shout "Sack the Board". I doubt there would be 10 clubs willing to lose a home fixture, so it's a non-issue.martin_p wrote:And to hell with the supporters of those clubs?

It's a constant scrabble for more money. Money above all else. His lack of respect for fans is absolutely astonishing.
