Basically, my setup in my living room has jacked in, and I wondered if there is a device that would enable me to connect my stand-alone minidisc player to my sound bar via bluetooth.
There are so many listed on eBay but I would rather have a recommendation from an actual person rather than risk buying imported crap.
Is there a particular make and model a fellow Claret would suggest?
Bluetooth transmitter, advice/recommendations please
Re: Bluetooth transmitter, advice/recommendations please
I've tried a few over the years. Can't remember specific brands but the bargain chinese ones aren't much cop. Drop out a lot, sound quality is poor, range is minimal.
See if your soundbar uses Apt-X. If so then get a transmitter that also uses that codec.

I bought the Samsung Level Link last year to connect to my portable minidisc player so I could connect it to my wireless headphones.
Excellent device. It's a receiver as well as a transmitter and uses Apt-X.
Think it cost just under £30 new from ebay.
Great build quality and has done exactly what i wanted.
