At his best I would go with Bale as he is almost unstoppable and very exciting to watch. However, there are players who have done it far more consistently for a long period of time. Giggs, scholes, Gerrard, Lampard and Shearer all better for me because of that

Scholes is head and shoulders above any other EPL player any team as ever produced. In my humble opinion that is. Dictated the tempo of games, scored goals, great vision and very rarely lost the ball best player I have seen and I've seen some gudns
