No result, had to look elsewhere for that one. LL website nothing like as good as it used to be, not even got the league table correct which is why there is a discrepancy between the two groups Hopey has posted and the one I've posted.

Been like that all season with results missing - there was a t20 game earlier in the season that wasn't included for nearly three weeks. Nothing like as reliable as it has been previously unfortunately. This week was a key week and due to a missing result they don't have the split correct for the league.

You do know that if the club aren't forthcoming with the results or don't post the scorecard on social media, he has to phone the club (and has sometimes driven to it) to find it out...

He's a volunteer, tad harsh in my opinion.

True that some clubs aren't forthcoming.... that's probably the crux of it.

There is actually a bit more to it than the service slipping.

There have been a number of recent issues due the fact that the site is built on the cricket archive platofrm and they have (along with CricHQ) introduded a pay wall. This includes the down times etc that people have noted on here.

It has been discussed at league meetings and clubs are likely to have to fund the coninuation of the site which they are happy to do.

To add to this, CricHQ have this week introduced a paywall and this has caused further issues with clubs being unhappy having shelled out to get the service up and running with no suggestion it would become a subscriber service for clubs fans. Clubs have installed new WIFI etc for live scoring with people now expected to pay to view live cards.

I think the reason why people can be critical on here is becuse in the last 10 years the site has been simply brilliant.

I am sure it will all settle down soon.

I've heard you can still see the live scorecards by using the Criq HQ app.

I was trying to use the website and it is was asking for $1.49 USD, I cannot see many takers!

There has been a lot of criticism on twitter from clubs / individuals from GMCL.

There was a tweet the other week asking if people still wanted the website to carry on.

Even as a Ribb league fan it would be a crying shame if he didn't carry the website on. It's a credit to the Lancs league.

On the clubs not helping issue, it's shameful of some clubs. All they have to do is press a button to upload as soon as the game has finished. Same problem happens in other league though. Especially when the home club has lost for some reason.

There was a tweet the other week asking if people still wanted the website to carry on.

I think that was just asking if the .co.uk site was still needed, or if everyone used .com. Except that for a week or so .com wasn't working, so everyone suddenly had to look at .co.uk and saw the message.

Phase 2 fixtures are now out on the League website. Colne at home to Rishton this Saturday.

It's an unbelievably good website. The amount of information available on there is brilliant.
To pull together that much information going back decades from amateur teams is a great effort.

The top two clubs in Division A Clitheroe and Darwen clash at Chatburn Road on Saturday as Phase Two gets underway.

Haslingden meet third placed Todmorden at the CDM Windows Bentgate Cricket Ground.

Lowerhouse and Ramsbottom meet at The Brooks Foundation Ground.

Nelson take on East Lancs at Seedhill.

Burnley have a free date for the second week running.

The Division A fixtures are concluded on Sunday September 17th when Ramsbottom have a free date.

In Division B Accrington host Church at Thorneyholme Road in a local derby.

Colne and Rishton meet at The Horsfield.

Enfield take on Rawtenstall at Dill Hall Lane.

Great Harwood meet Bacup at The Cliffe.

The Lancashire League never cease to amaze me. In the first phase, with an odd number of clubs, one team missed out each week. It just so happens Burnley went last yesterday and had no game, so I find it incredible that they are now going to miss out again this week because they've been chosen to miss the first week of phase 2 leaving them three weeks between games.

The noose is tightening round the cheating neck of Clitheroe Cricket Club. As the number of "shamateurs" bragging about their illicit pay agreements grows the lleague hierarchy is finding it difficult - indeed impossible - to avoid taking strong action against the club. Is expulsion from the league now a real possibility? Roll on justice!
