No - the cost of his operation will dictate that he really shouldn't be paying more than 35 - 40% of the selling price for stock occasionally you will make more on items you take a punt on but just as likely you have them in the warehouse 3 years later

Mrs.HP reckons he's a right robbing shyster. Knows his sh*t and is happy to rip you off.

The flip side to that is he enploys at least 4 people. Plus his premises. The mark up has got to come from somewhere .

I don't have TV, so had to look this up online.
I've just watched a few of the second series.
I think he's very fair, he has to be with the cameras being there I suppose.
