Ryan Boudeboiz
This is the type of player we should be targeting.
The only player in Ligue 1 to get over 10 assists and goals last season.
His current club want £7.6m for him, absolute peanuts in this day and age.
Can play as a number ten, out wide or CM

Re: Ryan Boudeboiz
He's a very good player, but if we were to sign anyone from Ligue 1 then it should be Marcus Coco.
I've suggested him on here during the last two windows (yeah I'm blowing my own trumpet) - he's a young pacy and direct winger who is both physical and skillful.
Over the last fortnight both Southampton and Huddersfield (Joey13's wet dream team) have been linked with a £10 million move for him.
I would love to see him as a claret

Changed the title for you.
It helps avoid confusion for those of us desperate for news!

Don't know him but sounds a million miles from what we need. A return of a lower level in a lower league than what our current strikers did in the Championship????

Doesn't fit the PPRPS re potential signings.

Excellent player is Boudebouz, an absolute bargain at £7M. The doom mongers will be along shortly to say "little old Burnley cant compete with Real Betis"

I don't know who he is but I think we should sign him for his name alone. Think of the great songs available.
Bad Boys by Inner Circle being the obvious one.

Re: Ryan Boudeboiz
Hes not a striker, hes an attacking midfielder so comparing his goal record with a strikers is a little stupid and unfair. Ligue 1 is a lower level than the Championship?elwaclaret wrote:Don't know him but sounds a million miles from what we need. Re: Ryan Boudeboiz
there are some cracking players in Ligue 1, pretty surprised we are never linked with anyone over there. Do we scout the French Leagues ?

Really really good player.
Pretty gutted we are not linked to a player of this quality at that price

Re: Ryan Boudeboiz
Yeh few things more gutting than when you aren't linked with a player.
Re: Ryan Boudeboiz
It's gone so quiet on the rumour front we're finding the most obscure names we can now to give us something to talk about.

Re: Ryan Boudeboiz
How did the OP manage to mis-spell this player's first AND second names?

Re: Ryan Boudeboiz
Apologies for the spelling. I quickly saw the player linked with real Betis whilst on the train and tried my best.

Re: Ryan Boudeboiz
peanuts in today's market
Re: Ryan Boudeboiz
A lot of French football is shockingly bad. It's definitely a worse spectacle than the Championship.
Re: Ryan Boudeboiz
He looked promising when he started out at Sochaux but his level stagnated. Sochaux have a long record of producing (and selling) their own players. They sold him to Bastia for a reported €1m in 2013. He wasn't brilliant at Bastia and was sold because they had to get money in quick to avoid being relegated for financial reasons. He joined Montpellier for under €2m in 2015.
He had by far his best season in 2016/17 and as Montpellier are a selling club he was allowed to leave.
To be honest, I'm not sure whether he is better than what we already have.

Re: Ryan Boudeboiz
I identified both this guy and Steve Mounie both from Montpellier around January to my mates as the sort of players we should be scouting at the very least. Yes we may have done, I don't know ????.
One has turned up up in the top English division for around £11 million this summer, and the other has signed to a middle order La Liga side for around £7million, not out of our price range by any means, and both of which have the potential to be improved and sold on for a profit at a later stage !!!!!
