Rasha Bandhan is a popular Hindu festival . It means the dutiful protection of a sister by a brother .As a symbol the sister after saying her prayers tie a holy thread on one of the hands of the brother . Now it becomes the duty of the brother to protect his sister/s in all circumstances .
