Raksha Bandhan

Post by davemanu2000 » Mon Aug 07, 2017 2:58 pm

Rasha Bandhan is a popular Hindu festival . It means the dutiful protection of a sister by a brother .As a symbol the sister after saying her prayers tie a holy thread on one of the hands of the brother . Now it becomes the duty of the brother to protect his sister/s in all circumstances .

I think it's quite nice. It's not often you get to show your appreciation for a sibling.
