What a cr@p format for the draw!

Post by PaintYorkClaretnBlue » Thu Aug 10, 2017 10:06 pm

What's going on? What's wrong with the first team out being at home??

The presenter also told them to slow down and is constantly communicating with somebody out of shot by nodding and mouthing words at them.

Strange!

Them and West Ham can't play at home, so to avoid the risk of them drawing each other Newport have been shunted up north.

At least that'll force Dyche to want to win a tie for a change. Far from convinced he has wanted to in the past.

We didn't need that, we will play a weakened team and they will play their first team! Having said that, our weakened team should beat em!!

The bubble policing for this one is going to be HILARIOUS to see....

This is going to effectively write off ANY travel on the M65 that night not to mention in/around Ewood from about 5pm (if not earlier!).

God help Lancashire constabulary organising this one in a short amount of time....

We're **** against lower league opponents, dyche doesn't give two shits about this cup either.

As soon as the tables turn league position wise, we'll lose to that lot down the road and then not play them again for another 20 years.

What was with that draw by the way? Stupid.

The seeded teams were separate so they needed to randomly draw out who was at home. How else could they do it fair?
Good draw after I was cheesed off when we couldn't get Rochdale.

I'd be very surprised if we won this. Dyche has made it very clear previously that he doesn't care a jot about cup competitions with the displays last season against Accy and Lincoln. Rovers will want it, they'll play their strongest side, and we won't.
I also doubt it will be on tv, Leeds against Newport and Southampton wolves may be on, both are bigger draws for a tv audience. Outside of east Lancashire no one cares about rovers v Burnley, espically not sky.

We should treat it for what it is - away to a League One side in a game that is likely to be their biggest for a long, long time. They'll be desperate for a win and will want to kick the shite out of us, Lincoln - style.
We must play it nice and steady and if it has to be,, I'd rather be knocked out of this stupid comp, even by those morons down the road, than pick up injuries and suspensions.

Brilliant draw Dyche will surely field the first team for this due to the importance of the fixture.
People saying its a rubbish draw i disagree what a chance to pile misery on. If they happen to win its a mickey mouse cup we're in the Prem!

Blackburn's cup final and their biggest game of the season.

We still owe them for the 5-0 that Stan Ternent suffered.

One last ghost to exorcise.
