(From the stream, so take with a pinch of salt)

Heaton - 7
Lowton - 8
Tarkowski - 7 (switched off for their first goal and I think we need competition for him, but still very much a fan)
Mee - 8
Ward - 10 (+2 for a truly out of this world goal)
Gudmundsson - 6
Cork - 7
Defour(*) - 10 (the architect whose creations are a joy to behold)
Brady - 8 (so unlucky with the free kick)
Vokes - 9 (Brilliant header, a proven PL striker now)

Heaton 7 couple of good saves
Lowton 8 pretty solid, good cross for vokes 1st goal
Tarks 7 would've been 8 but for a couple of mistakes but I'm sure he'll get better
Mee 8 great welcome for Morata
Ward 7 solid
Defour 9 ran the show 1st half not involved as much 2nd half but Chelsea started to boss things would've been my motm but vokes goals swayed me
Hendrick 7 quiet game but solid in what he did
Cork 7 same as Jeff
Brady 8 put in some decent crosses and unlucky not to score at the end
JBG 7 looks like he's still making his way back but did a job
Vokes 9 my motm. Held the ball up well, scored 2 cracking goals, didn't give their defence a minutes piece.

Brilliant result!

Heaton 7 - couple of saves you'd expect him to make
Lowton 7
Mee 8 - great welcome to the prem for morata
Tarks 7 - first half 9 second half 5
Ward 8 - 7+ amazing goal
JBG 6 - not great today
Cork 7 - caught in possession a couple of times, particularly in second half, and seems a little hesitant to pass forwards
Defour 10 - one of best halves I've ever seen from a Burnley player. Breaking everything up defensively while running the attack. Pure class...and that cross...
Hendrick 7 - solid
Brady 6 - was hoping for more tbh. Still seems to struggle to get a good ball in
Vokes 9 - couldn't ask for anything more today. Excellent

Arfield 6
Walters 6 - looks slow

Heaton 7 - very solid, but not that much to do
Lowton 7 - solid performance and seemed better going forward than last season
Mee -8 - carried on where he left off last season
Tarko - 7 - superb in the first half, but culpable for the second goal and maybe the first
Ward 8 - Very strong performance and what a goal
JBG - 6 - seemed a little anonymous to me, in what was a very strong midfield
Hendricks -7 - very effective
Defour -9 - sublime at times, wonderful assist for third goal
Brady - 8 - many contributions and could have had 2 goals
Cork 7 - a little bit like JBG
Vokes 9 - MOM - superb, 2 goals, defensive contributions and many won battles against the Chelsea defence.

10's all round for the first 45, especially our midfield which ripped them a new one. Overall though.

Heaton 8 (No chance with the goals and made some fine saves)
Lowton 7
Ward 8 (I could hum and pray to his footballing brain... I totally love Wardy)
Tark 7 (Immense until we absorbed too much pressure, but the good WAS good though tbf)
Mee 8 (Outstanding and I thought he got the ball when he was yellow carded)
Gud 7
Cork 8 (welcome back)
Defour 9 (Please!! stay fit and get on with the manager)
Hendrick 8 (Looked a confident lad today, terrific 1st half)
Brady 8 (quality deliveries)
Vokes 10 MOM (scored a brace, won free kicks, looked the part and defended superbly too)

Subs, Arfield 7 Walters 7 (I'm not giving 6's)

Incredible 3 points and a nerve wracking afternoon, I'm going to enjoy what this season throws at us, again.

From the front row of the Lower Shed - knee high view of the pitch.

A magnificent performance. Waited a long time to get 3 points at Chelsea.

Heaton 7 - usual performance from Tom, little to do in first half, some great saves, beaten twice/three times if we count their off-side;
Lowton 7 - some great defending, and some great breaks down the wing;
Tarkowski 8 - looks like James has been playing Premier League all his life, very solid, very dependable (Michael who?);
Mee 8 - another great defensive performance from Ben, and another very brave head to the ball when he was on the floor and the feet were flying;
Ward 8 - I couldn't believe his goal from my view from the far corner of the pitch. Tremendous. Some great cover/clearances, also;
Cork 8 - looks like Jack had been with us always, had never left, great addition to the squad/team;
Defour 8 - a master class of midfield control and distribution. I was worried when Cahill put his foot in, but Steven was back playing again as though nothing had happened;
Hendrick 7 - some great attacking play - the 4-5-1 really worked;
Brady 8 - this is the player we signed in Jan - another great free kick against Chelsea, this time came back off the post;
JBG 7 - great contribution down our right
Vokes 8 - worked hard as always, 2 great goals and nearly a hat trick - I was too far away to see why the ref didn't give it first time we "hit the net."

Sean Dyche, 10 out of 10 - "spent £3" and built a football team, in stages, that can beat last year's Champions - no idea how much Conte has invested in Chelsea - not working for them.

A very happy Claret. We played very good football in the first half - a lot of great passing, keeping possession and probing Chelsea's defence.

Celebrating my 50th season as a Claret!

Edit: Forgot my MotM: Steven Defour, because midfield is so important to winning games, though Sam Vokes and Steven Ward run him close.

Heaton - 8 a couple of decent saves
Lowton - 8 excellent cross for the goal and defensively sound
Ward - 9 Outstanding goal and also dug in when we were up against it
Mee - 8 Typical Ben Mee 8 out 10 performance
Tarkowski - 7 switched off for the goals but faultless otherwise
Cork - 8 Joey Barton 2.0 this guy is the signing of the summer.....so far
Defour - 9 oozes quality and put in a real shift
Hendrick - 9 supported Vokes really well and is suited for the advanced midfield role
JBG - 6 virtually anonymous
Brady - 8 busy and gave us an outlet out wide some unlucky not to score
Vokes - 10 MOM Just outstanding

Subs 6 apiece

Simply outstanding the way we took advantage in the first half. Retained the ball well and created and scored some brilliant goals. Bearing in mind the post was struck and we had a goal (rightly) chalked off, we are unlucky not to have scored five goals at Stamford bridge, against the Champions.

Heaton 7 not a lot to do good save from alonso and made a lot look simple
Lowton 8 first half the entire defence were a 10. Good game going back and forward
Ward 9 outstanding. Best left back ive seen for us. Linked up brilliantly with brady
Mee 9 great at the back and a threat in their box. Marshalled the defence. Bollocked tarks a few times. Cleared a ball with his head again. Proper leader now.
Brady 9 the player I thought we had bought. Cluldve had a few goals.
Jbg 8. Grafted. Didnt miss Boyd. Quick. Tricky. What we need.
Defour 10. Best cm performance ive seen for us in context. As fit as hes been which is great.
Cork. 9. Not far behind defour. Complimented him and Hendrick perfectly.
Hendrick. 8 carried ball well. Part of a top trio.
Vokes 10. Only doesbtnt get mom because defours that good.
Shame no hat trick.

Special mention to dyche who was tactically spot on and Walters who is exactly the type of player and experience we needed to bring on and see the game out.

Heaton -8

Lowton -9

Mee -9 Commanding. MK rightly had lots of plaudits last season, Ben though has quietly matured into a very, very good CB and, a Leader.
Don't know his stats, but reckon over these last couple of years or so, he's put a block in with just about every part of his body!

Tarks -7 Cracking first half. Bit of a lapse in the second. But really encouraging in the middle there with Ben.

Ward -9 What a goal!

JBG -7

Cork- 8

Defour -9 Very, very good game.

Hendrick -7

Brady -8 Starting to look the part.

Vokes - 9 (MoM)

Tarks 7. Steady enough for someone of his experience. But some of his decisions showed the difference with keane. Couple of times where keane wouldve headered it back to heaton but h le headed it into dnger. Overall was sound though especially first hlf.

The morning after the night before and all the fingernails have been picked up off the floor. Nervy as hell in the final 25 minutes but overall quite magnificent stuff. Some of the football in the first half was a joy to behold! LOVED Dyche`s reaction at the end. Chelsea - what a bunch of whiny arse****s.

Heaton 7 (two very good saves)

Lowton 7 (looked the part barring a couple of lapses)
Tarkowski 6 (would have been an 8 but turned off twice to allow Chelsea`s goals. First half thought he was EXCELLENT.
Mee 7 (typical Mee)
Ward 8 (what a goal! A great player who Taylor will find hard to shift)

Gudmundsson 6 (not really at the races)
Hendrick 8 (energetic and industrious)
Defour 9 MOM (SUBLIME Midfield play)
Cork 7 (had some great spells particularly at the end of the 1st half but lapsed on occasion)
Brady 7 (looking more the part)

Vokes 9 (absolutely super stuff. GREAT lone striker play!)

Lowton 8
Ward 9 - probably our most in form player over the last six months or so! What a player he's turned into! Fantastic goal!
Mee 8
Tarkowski 8
Brady 8
Hendrick 8
Cork 8
Defour 9 - quite simply the best midfielder I've ever seen for Burnley. An absolute joy to watch!
Gudmundsson 8
Vokes 9* - some performance today! Bullied them from start to finish. If anybody wants to learn how to lad the line they should watch that today. Sensational!

Only saw the 2nd half but delighted at the ratings so far far for Defour.

After 2 games last year I was sure I had seen the best ever player since my first game (Orient)

I just hope we see more of him this season to confirm it

That has to be our best ever Premiership away performance, by some margin; an amazing day out.
Hats off to Paul Waine for posting his row 1 ratings (we were on row 1 as well) so promptly. Despite being at grass height and all the goal action being at the other end of the pitch, I didn’t feel distant from the action; it is a cracking ground.

Heaton 8
Lowton 7
Tarkowski 7
Mee 9
Ward 9
Gudmundsson 6
Cork 7
Defour 9
Brady 8
Hendrick 7
Vokes 9

The last 10 minutes were nerve-shredding.

Heaton (8) - had no chance with the goals, usual calm and commanding captain's performance.
Lowton (8)- this guy just keeps on getting better. Even a couple of "Trippier-esque" crosses.
Tarkowski (7)- loses a mark for ball watching on a couple of occasions but a good game nonetheless. Has bided his time, has obviously learned from those around him whilst here and has a definite future with us.
Mee (8) A typical Ben Mee performance! He's going to keep on growing and developing. I can see him being "poached" in the next year or so by a bigger club.
Ward (9) - gains a mark for *that* goal. Very good performance and he's definitely shown Charlie Taylor exactly the benchmark if he wants to replace him in the team!
Gudmundsson (7) - encouraging signs but just not quite there yet; needs to develop more. To me his is the position we're most likely to upgrade on in the next few weeks.
Cork (8) - Looks like he's always been here.... cracking performance!
Hendrick (7)- Did well but could have done better I feel. Just had the sense that he was playing within himself. Hopefully he'll feel the same!
Defour (8) - Now that's the Defour we want to see... he keeps playing like that and he's a first choice for Belgium again very quickly! Tired a bit and was the right move to take him off.
Brady (8) - Very unlucky not to score from the free kick near the end. The overall performance will do his confidence a world of good. Looking forward to seeing how he moves on from here.
Vokes (10) - Did his job as a lone striker brilliantly, was all over the pitch, two very well taken goals and will have done him the world of good to get off the make so quickly; especially in the "post-Gray" world.

Dyche (10)- masterminding a win away at the champions on the first day of the new season how could it be anything but? Set us up perfectly with the tactics and has given every scout watching something to think about as we're not going to be as one-dimensional and toothless as perhaps they assumed....

Hats off to Paul Waine for posting his row 1 ratings (we were on row 1 as well) so promptly. Despite being at grass height and all the goal action being at the other end of the pitch, I didn’t feel distant from the action; it is a cracking ground.

.
Thanks, ICL. No secret to how I managed it - only live an hour from Stamford Bridge. A leisurely walk to West Brompton tube, alongside all the Chelsea fans - they were impressed with Burnley - tube to Richmond - stopped for a coffee and home a little after 6:30pm.

Agree, great view of game at the Shed end. But, low down in the corner it's hard to get the perspective when the play was at the "5-goals and 2-off sides" end. The subs warming up (both teams) also blocked the view through a lot of the second half. So, my ratings should be judged on what I could see...and what I couldn't.

Heaton 9 - that save from the FK and the push over of the rocket shot, conveyed to Chelsea and the Clarets that once they had got past the rest, he was just as unbeatable.
Lowton 9
Mee 9
Tarks 9
Ward 9
JBG 8
Cork 8
Defour 9
Hendrick 8
Brady 8
Vokes 10

Wonderful to watch in the first half. Vokes won almost everything and scored three (2 counted). What more can we ask?
Defour sublime. The rest did their stuff. Ward goal beautiful.
Thank you, thank you, thankyou.

....and next time don't stop playing when they get to 9 men!

Heaton 8 did what we expect now
Lowton 8 Good first half some dangerous crosses pushed back in the second but stuck to his task
Mee 9 Led by example as always
Tarks 8 great first hour caught out for the goals but he will learn some important interceptions and headers
Ward Fantastic goal a constant menace to Chelsea all game on this form Taylor will have to wait for his chance
JBG 7 Got caught out of position a few times again needs to build up an understanding after a stop campaign last time out
Cork 8 Solid did give the ball away once which could have led to danger good partnership with Defour could develop
Defour Masterclass shows what he can produce great ball for Sam's second
Hendrick 8 Energetic obviously given more licence after the sending-off but carried the ball well a couple of times which lifted the pressure and drew fouls looks more at ease after a full pre-season
Brady Again caught ball-watching early on something i am sure Sean will have noted, great free-kick deserved better but the next one will fly in hopefully, major weapon with his set-piece delivery
Vokes 10 Perfect centre-forward display bullied Luiz which not many do great finish for the first on another day could have had 4.
