4-5-1 against West Brom?

Post by clarethomer » Sat Aug 12, 2017 6:28 pm

Will be interesting to see as SD does reward a winning team.

Think the 4-5-1 is now more of a possibility with the cover we have in midfield.

But...

Can see benefit of 4-4-2 at home...

Definitely with the our midfield 5 that played today and looked as though they had been in this league and finished in the top half for years.

When I saw us play that formation at the Celta Vigo game, I thought we saw something which was special.

I am hoping we can keep the same starting 11 too..

I could see an argument for 4-4-2 at home but it would be unfair to drop a player from central midfield after that performance. 4-5-1 again wouldn't be a bad idea.

Without Gray, it'll be 4-5-1. I think it'll only change if we sign a forward.

No brainer; 4-5-1 and the same line up. They deserve that after today.

What a start to the season- West Brom know that they're gointo have to put one hell of a performance in next week to get something!

Definitely 4-5-1. Utilises our best players and allows us to keep the ball far better.

Has to be the same side for me.

Only potential change I would consider is Walters in for JBG on the right as he can get closer to Vokes to make a two up there when required. That said, I wouldn't be changing the team personally.

1-1 going into the last 5 mins and on comes Walters to **** off his old boss by thumping in an 88th minute winner
