None of us know what the context was when it was said but to make a complaint about it, followed by an investigation is just a total waste of time and money.

I don't for one minute condone it but political correctness has gone way too far. People complain about the behaviour and attitude of some of the younger generation but show programmes like Towie and Geordie Shore etc. You can't sat boo to a goose these days but they allow crap like that to be screened.

Of course talking in a Caribbean accent is not as serious as people starving in the third world - but that does not make it ok.

If we work on that type of logic when assessing wrong doing why not make some murderer innocent as its not as bad as genocide ?!!

First time I have read this thread and it`s really interesting how it captures the deep held views and attitude of certain posters on pretty much any non football issue. You could change the OP topic to something else and you would get very similar comments.

Sorry to single you out Rowls but do bother to check any facts before you post ? Here`s a little tip - reduce the length of your posts and use the time you have saved by checking a few facts. I might send that to Viz top tips.

So she has got an 80k pay out for someone talking to her in a carribean accent?

She will end dressing room banter throughout the country for this.

What will happen if George Boyd becomes skint and sues Burnley for Dyche making him dip in the river Calder?

She is a Solicitor by trade, so methinks she spotted the cash angle out of it, why didn’t she just embarrass the goalkeeping coach by pointing out she is of African descent and why is he talking in a Caribbean accent!! But no she thought £ signs from his comments.
Claiming she didn’t get picked because of skin colour is clearly playing the race card, football managers pick not just on talent but how the get on with other team members etc

It was debated on the five live friday lunch time sports forum today. What balanced view point was put forward by the female host and the all female panel do you think?

That racism and a contempt for women are perfectly acceptable ?
No ?
Who'd have thought it ?
I imagine their viewpoint, after much discussion, was balanced right enough - it's just that you don't happen to agree with it. ;)

Every business in the country would go under if that's all it takes to get 80k out of them.

In a couple of years time, if the Womens' footballers and cyclists are back to being hopeless, will we have an enquiry to find out what went wrong?
At least no one will be shouting at the poor dears though.

Ah so the stories about Neymar allegedly demanding another player is sold and who they should buy is an example of picking players who get on with their team mates?

Andy Cole and Teddy Sheringham couldn't stand each other and didn't talk to each other off the pitch, but they still got picked to play alongside each other at UTD because it worked.

I work in Manchester and come from Great Harwood and they are constantly taking the p!ss out of my broad Lancashire accent, perhaps I should complain I might get £80,000, then again I’m male, English and white so in today’s society I’ve no chance!
