The time he had a meltdown over the Barnes/Matic incident live on Sky Sports is still one of my all time favorites.

To be fair that first half was absolute dirt. I’d not want to watch it if I wasn’t sat in my seat on the Turf.

I thought it was fairly boring viewing and that's coming from a fan.

Any other sky pundit would have felt the same as Merson.

could rank as the worst ever premiere league game in history, played not to get beat and it showed.

I'm a big Dyche fan, but the way we rolled over today was pathetic.

If any Burnley fan can hand on heart say a player played above average I'd like to meet him.

Game plan was to not get beat, and it was executed.

3 home games in, and we have been made to look as though we are purely here to be plucky.

Worst ever Pl game in history?

Our history or since 1992??

Either way that's an over reaction when you consider the game City smashed us at TM in the rain when Kev Mac went to the pub at half time.

I was bored and deflated. Merson was correct. Dire tedious pathetic uninspiring worrying take your pick but that was as bad a home performance in the Prem as you will get.Oh well clean sheet and a point move on.

Agree with this. If you didn't go on today I suggest not bothering tuning in for our game. It was poor.

Agree with all your sentiments. However, hand on heart Defour played above average.

The Man City game was a much better spectacle than today's match.
It was only poor because we lost heavily. To the neutral it would have been pretty good to watch.
Two teams today who have a defensive system and framework but don't know what to do when they actually have the ball and thus an almost inevitable 0-0 stalemate.

He's always very complimentary of Burnley in his previews an when I read articles by him.
His criticism of the match was bang on, only one team worth watching an it wasn't us. Relegation material today

I found myself drifting off and staring at an unplugged Dyson, thinking about the grey\yellow combination, it was that uneventful.

That's because he kept calling for the ball but wasn't getting passed to..so he was forced into going back to get it. And to mop up at the back more than once

Pity I discovered it 5 minutes into this match.

Article on Sky Sports with him claiming Portsmouth were 33/1 outsiders to win the league when he was there.
Didn’t they spend loads that season?

Also claiming Redknapp is better tactically than Wenger.
