I was in the JHU but from what I saw they were booing the cheeky git who got booked for diving as he walked off. He was booed every time he touched the ball after he was carded so that was my interpretation as to who they were booing at.

This seemed to be the case from where I was sat in the JHU.

Couldn't believe it but I definitely heard a few boos around me in the JHL immediately after the final whistle.
The crescendo of boos for the diver came a minute or 2 later as the majority of the Burnley fans were clapping the team off.
Thought SD was spot on in that interview including giving the opposition deserved credit for their performance.

You really don't think that performance yesterday didn't deserve a show of displeasure? It was turgid and boring.

Fans have every right to boo if they see fit.

Some expect we should be beating the likes of Huddersfield at home, get real, every game in this league is going to be tough. No one is here to make up the numbers.

People pay their money and if they aren't impressed by slow turgid dycheball then they have to very right to show their feelings. Yawn Dyche clearly doesn't like the show of displeasure, good hope he changes it up a bit.

Huddersfield at home is exactly the sort of game we should be expecting to win.

What a load of crap; you living in fantasy football land!! It's taken us from being midtable bog standard Championship side to looking like a stable Prem team has Dycheball, you'd prefer us to be playing free-flowing attacking football and losing that game yesterday? It was a mature performance and we didnt get sucked in thinking we were Billy Big, you know what, against the newly promoted side who've had a decent start and look well organised;it's early season, we always start like this: tactical shapes, players getting used to their roles and keeping it tight; it's the foundation for the season.
It was a well fought point and booing wasnt merited; I'd say they're just miserable gits the people who booed and complained.

Maybe we should be expecting to win but if we dont does that warrant booing?

Very similar type of game to Hull City at the same stage last year. They were everyone's faves for relegation but ended up starting the season with a couple of wins. We drew 1-1 with that late Snodgrass goal denying us and a lot of people got quite upset about it.

We went on to hit a very good streak of form at home - we had no more pace in the side than we have now (Gray was either suspended or a substitute for the majority of those autumn home games).

Not sure where the fear is coming from, we're still to turn it on at home, but our record after three home games is the same as it was last year - w 1 d 1 l 1. Overall though, we look an improved team, with 5 valuable points picked up away (instead of none).

If the turgid boring football was producing results then I don't think anyone would be moaning, but its 4 wins out of 21 now.

Look at the games we've just played. And look at our league position.

We've played Chelsea, Spurs and Liverpool... away. 3 of the most difficult games we'll ever face in a season. Replace those 3 with Brighton, Swansea and Bournemouth and you might have a point. (not literally)

Yes, it's your right to boo. However, you are amongst a group of posters on here who have never done the opposite and praised the team when they have done well.

All you ever post is completely negative.

I am not one to sit there booing and I didn't , but by god that was boring. Forget all the analysis of formations, the issue is our midfield sit way too deep no matter what formation we play, this is Sean Dyche's safety mechanism but it means the forward players get very little support thus making goals and sustained pressure hard to come by. I agree with that caution away from home especially against the big boys but I think with the points we have banked so far perhaps the shackles need to be released a little bit more at home.

Our efforts to make things happen were confined to Brady and Arfield swapping wings now and again and then throwing Barnes on and smashing it up too him. IMO Defour should have got closer to Hendrick and let us risk getting caught on the counter now and again to try and draw them out once in a while.

Dyche said we tried to win it, I disagree tbh his real intention was to not get beat and accept the point.

I was happy with the result. Huddersfield are a very well organised side who will hold there own in this league. Nothing to be negative about drawing to Huddersfield. Huddersfield could have quite easily taken the 3pts as they finished the stronger side. It was one of those days despite all our possession, that we could quite easily have conceded in injury time, like teams sometimes do at this level. We defended well and gave little away

I'm amazed Wagner didn't see the dive because I'm sure he, along with his Staff flung their arms up for a penalty.

"Turgid". Excellent word. But it definitely wasn't turbid.
