Almost a sixth of the way through...

Post by Goddy » Sun Sep 24, 2017 2:19 pm

....the season and, looking at the table, just wondering about thoughts on how representative the current table might be of where things will end up at the end of the season?

For me, from Swansea down, doesn't look too far from those who might make up the bottom 3. That being said, there's usually one team which goes in freefall from higher up...us, Watford or Hudds, perhaps?

The Everton - Newcastle bunch look mid-table material to me at the season end (probably Arsenal excepted). The rest look like making up the top half-dozen (with the exception of Watford, probably).

So, for me, I reckon the table might not look too dissimilar ion many respects at season's end.

Thoughts?

I wouldn't look at the table until Christmas for any sort of guide outside the top 6

I look at the table before, during and after every game. It doesn't matter what time of year, always have always will, Clarence.

I don't think we'll go down, but I also don't think we'll finish as high as we are now. However, the top 5 could very well finish like that.
