Shocking ref
West brom vs arsenal. Jay brought down, got up and hit the post. No advantage, penalty should have been given. Not surprised jay was livid

Re: Shocking ref
Blatant penalty. What was he thinking. Goes to show that honesty doesn’t really get rewarded.
Re: Shocking ref
Unless you go down screaming holding your leg they won’t give it. Shocking decision.

Re: Shocking ref
Is Bobby Madley actually Wenger wearing a mask?
Ludicrously one sided decisions, Lacazette just made the most blatant foul and the throw was given to Arsenal. The pen decision was a joke.

Re: Shocking ref
Awful decision. A blatant penalty. And the ref has also given Arsenal 2 very dodgy free kicks on the edge of the box, one which has now resulted in the goal. Big club bias at its worst.

Re: Shocking ref
I once put a potato in a minature referee kit and it looked just like a small Bobby Madley.

No one is as bad as Terry mills from the 80s.

What's the odds on Wenger saying he didn't see the penalty incident!

Re: Shocking ref
It's a shame for West Brom as they were looking good too. Going one up at that time would have turned the Arsenal "fans" in to bigger whingers than they already are and would have put a lot of pressure on Arsenal. How it is now, you can see Arsenal winning 3 nil! Awful from Madley.

Re: Shocking ref
Just missed a clear pull on Sanchez’s shirt in the box - just as blatant a penalty.

Exactly, bloody shocking refereeing. Perhaps he things evening it up is "fair" rather than now being doubly incompetent?!Rileybobs wrote:Just missed a clear pull on Sanchez’s shirt in the box - just as blatant a penalty.

You've got to go down, roll around and slap the ground. That's the way it is nowadays I'm afraid. Its not a foul unless you do them three things.

As we are in the top 8 hopefully that makes us a big club and we get some decisions our way.ive had a life time of things going against us.TeesClaret wrote:Awful decision. A blatant penalty. When an arsenal player thinks he’s been fouled you know about it. Therefore Arsenal have had more free kicks and more West Bromwich players have been booked.

Re: Shocking ref
Madley either has a good game or is terrible, tonight he was terrible
Re: Shocking ref
Seemed a long way from the action.
Re: Shocking ref
I thought Madley was pretty good tonight. If you look at the JayRod penalty you will see that Mustafa removes his leg before any contact. I don't think there is any contact and Jay either slips or anticipates it.
Madley did miss an Arsenal penalty when Monreal's arm was held by the cynical Nyom but it was hard for him or his assistant to see it. The actual penalty by Nyom was correct.
Players do not help referees in these decisions and although they surely know that JayRod is no Sane, it's still amazing to me how many decisions they and their assistants get right. The Leicester Liverpool Premier game the other day was dreadful for players falling over, shirt pulling, and Vardy in top form with leaving his leg behind etc. etc..
Players, coaches and managers have a lot to answer for yet are rarely called to account on these matters.

Re: Shocking ref
Had JayRod scored I've no doubt that Madley would have run off with his arms outstretched and taken credit for playing advantage.
It's one of the most appalling instances of refereeing I've seen this season.

Re: Shocking ref
I'm glad a lad from Burnley and a former Claret was honest. Ironically, it happened just two days after SD had spoken about diving. Honesty is worth far more than a penalty.
Re: Shocking ref
Does seem that Jay Rod has a history of cheating though. The game Southampton v Villaecc wrote:I'm glad a lad from Burnley and a former Claret was honest. Ironically, it happened just two days after SD had spoken about diving. Honesty is worth far more than a penalty.
