What's your guilty musical pleasure?
I have an eclectic variation of tastes. Currently listening to the Belle Stars (Iko Iko). Been on a journey from Buddy Holly and Rickie Nelson all through the decades on YouTube to AC/DC but what would be your guilty pleasure you listen to that you'd not normally admit to?
Are you a lover of one style of music, or like me. Anything which just grabs your attention? I've been through about ten different genre's tonight.

Re: What's your guilty musical pleasure?
I'm not a huge Jazz fan, but was introduced to the music of Avashai Cohen recently.
A trio with piano, double bass and drums. Wouldn't ordinarily have sought this out but if you like 'musicianship' then they have some awesome skills.
Would love to know if this floats anyone else's musical boat

Normally I'm a punk, post punk, indie sort of type. Genesis are my guilty pleasure, but in my defence only the Genesis with Peter Gabriel.

Re: What's your guilty musical pleasure?
I was was born in 1953 and I have 3 older and 1 younger sibling, so it's fair to say I was brought up on a wide variety of music ranging from Elvis and Buddy Holly to Cliff Richard and Helen Shapiro (my sister).
The first record I bought (with my first paper boy wage) was Let's Hang On by the Four Seasons.
The 60's for me was the best pop music ever.
When I was at college from 1970-75 I got into soft rock/hard with the likes of Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple AC/DC and the Moody Blues etc.
I suppose my guilty pleasure were Abba
Superb pop music

Chicago and Barry Manilow until both realised they made more money by pandering to the housewives.
I still play the early Chicago regularly.

When you look at Suzi Quattro on that video, she doesn't look dated. She looks like she could be on tv now .. if that make sense.
