Was it a good game? My view wasn't the best.
This was the view I had from my seat today looking towards the Glwadys Street.

you must be sat in KRBFC's seat...his observations suggest he usually takes a "restricted view" seat.

I hope you report this to the supporters federation you have contact with. Burnley selling restricted view tickets (on Evertons orders apparently) while we still had normal view tickets to sell is a joke. Wants stopping.
Plenty of seats available in the top tier with a decent view.

It will be reported to both clubs and the FSF. The ticket is not shown as restricted view. I was able to get round the problem by standing but my seat wasn't the only one to have this problem.Quickenthetempo wrote:I hope you report this to the supporters federation you have contact with. I could have done with sitting today to be honest. Standing for 90 mins at Gawthorpe yesterday had taken its toll on my ageing knees. But at least I had the wall to lean on.tim_noone wrote:Why do people stand at all seater stadia and spoil the enjoyment of others?its so inconsiderate.

Re: Was it a good game? My view wasn't the best.
I wonder why they don't sell the upper tier tickets first at Everton?
Its a much better view for supporters - and from the home team's perspective, having the away fans up there surely is better than having them make the kind of racket the Lower Tier Clarets made yesterday.
The under-the-stand facilities are on a par with Saltergate, ex-home of Chesterfield.
Still love Goodison though, one of the last of the traditional grounds in the Premier League, it'll be a shame when they leave, but probably necessary if they are to ever threaten the top table again.

Re: Was it a good game? My view wasn't the best.
Cuban - Everton insist on lower tier being sold first. Previously I've been in the upper tier and got a shock. The Bullens stand is old (over 90 years old) and the facilities really are poor. You can see, for so many reasons, why Everton want and need to move from Goodison but, despite yesterday's view, I love Goodison too. It really is a proper traditional football ground.Cubanclaret wrote:I wonder why they don't sell the upper tier tickets first at Everton?

Re: Was it a good game? My view wasn't the best.
I wrote to Everton on this matter. I don't think they should be selling a ticket for this particular seat but to sell it without it showing as restricted view is ridiculous.
I finally received a reply this week - "I can advise that an obstructed view seat is defined as such when the view of all, or part of, one set of goalposts is impeded. Any seat that is classed as an 'obstructed view' carries a £1 discount off the standard seat price in that area of the ground."
So, this seat is not considered a restricted view.

Stop moaning Tony....you can see one goal.. ...Its unbelievable that they consider that is an acceptable seat to sell to people...they must be desperate for the money thats all I can say.
Name and shame them.

Re: Was it a good game? My view wasn't the best.
And even then, a £1 discount's pretty rubbish if you can only see one of the goals.

Hogwash and diabolical.
Unbelievable really, yet another example of the disgraceful treatment of football supporters.
Would this be allowed watching the Royal Shakespeare Company at Stratford or Rugby Union at Twickers?

A snippet from a columnist in today's Daily Star:
HOW exactly was Burnley’s winner at Everton not on the Match of Day shortlist for Goal of the Month?
The 24-pass move, finished by Jeff Hendrick, was like Barcelona at their best - an absolute joy to behold.
It’s one of the best of the season, never mind October.
It’s typical of the snobbery surrounding Sean Dyche and his Clarets.
You have to wonder what he has to do to be considered for a job away from Turf Moor.
Crystal Palace, West Ham and Everton all appear to have ignored the claims of a coach who has taken his team to eighth, level on points with Arsenal and Liverpool for goodness sake.
