SPOT THE BALL - F A Cup - ALL places taken
Following last year's FA Cup, won by Dazzler, the League Cup and League won by Buxton, me and Spot were considering a new Cup Competition for this season.
It will take a few weeks for Spot to get his arse into gear but, if you're interested, all you have to do is log your interest on this thread. Spot, me and Manuel will do the rest.
You do not have to have taken part last year to take part in this year's competition.
The number of competitors will determine the start date and the number of rounds.
"Hey Manuel, dos cervezas por favor!"
P.S. Moaners and Happy Clappers alike are eligible to play

Dodgy Dave, the World famous Bookies from Lower Darwen and Shadsworth, have immediately instilled Buxton as 7/2 favourite for this year's Cup.Buxtonclaret wrote:Yes please!

Think I was knocked out early on by Buxton (no shame in that) last year
That left me to concentrate on the league getting a respectable 4th spot holding off Wile E but not quite enough to catch Firthy if I remember correct.

I have only just got over my first round cup exit last season, despite scoring 12 points! They really have been a traumatic last three or four months!

Aye, but I think Buxton should have five rounds to play first against Dazzler to decide which starts on a -100 handicap and which on a -50 Please

Unlikely that anyone will suffer a First Round exit this time around.jdrobbo wrote:I have only just got over my first round cup exit last season, despite scoring 12 points! They really have been a traumatic last three or four months!
Me, Spot and barman Manuel, were discussing the merits of a Champions League style intro into this Season's Cup.
Everything depends on numbers so, I'll leave this post running for a couple of weeks to drum up support

What about Shadowgate from last season?

You obviously don't know our Spot then.Bin Ont Turf wrote:What about Shadowgate from last season?

Within minutes of the story being leaked to The Sun, he'd jumped the back wall and had a freshly cooked chicken off Mrs McLellan's kitchen table.
Remorse? The look on his face when he landed back home was one more akin to "I don't give a Flying Fox"
I will keep him in check this season... or I'll try

Over 30 already! And in the middle of an International break too! Many of the "Usual Suspects" but one or two new players too.
Still waiting for several more before this one takes off.
Come on Spot... walkies!

Ha ha ha... that would be a very good idea if me and Spot were in the U.K. and our man with the Box Brownie had got some new images.
