England vs Slovenia

It's that time again. For me to look forward to an England game and then be let down after 90 minutes when it's been absolute bonk. Of course, every game I think it might be different!

Hopefully it'll be worth watching with Harry Kane scoring more goals.

Its the same as its always been.

I mean if you happen to be in the pub, have a few cursory glances at the screen, but don't set aside to time to watch that dross.

Might actually be a decent game for once this one FF based on Slovenia needing a result. I am hoping it will be a bit more open than the usual international matches we are served up.

Giving it a miss, know it will be the usual dross ending up with a 2 or 3-0 win with a couple of goals in the last 10 mins to make the score look impressive.

Will be seeing how the Scots get on instead.

I've not watched England footy team live for decades now though watched loads of England cricket & rugby games.
I'd have half watched on TV tonight along with NI but I'm off to see a gig at 19.30. When I get back, I'll have a quick look at the reports and maybe watch highlights if it's seen as a good performance; probably have to find something else to watch before toddling off to bed though.

Happens a lot in international football where the supposed weaker team starts the match like a train and scores early as the half progresses the ' stronger' team gets a foothold, equalises and then goes on to win comfortably.

The moral of the tale is:

Both teams to score in the first half - 5/1 with Betfair.

Is it just me or should world cup qualification be a MINIMUM standard for his job, not something that deserves rewarding?

As much as I like Ben mee, he'll rightly never get in an England squad. Far too much reliance on ball playing defenders for him to get a sniff. His passing is pretty woeful. But in the good ol days when defenders were defenders, perhaps.
Tarkowski on the other hand, well I'd be very surprised if we didn't see him in an England shirt while playing for Burnley.

Italia 90 versus ROI Egypt Belgium and Cameroon we were crap, played well against Holland and West Germany.

Euro 96 Switzerland Scotland and Spain we were shite good against the Dutch and Germans.

Total Toss players don’t win “Young Player of the Tournament”! But he was definitely better pre injury and never really recovered.

It was a class goal, not sure juggled is the right word - and I can't remember celebrating more at an England goal either. I'm not averse to playing down so called great moments for England, but that was one.
