Superleague final

SuperLeague final

Cas Tigers v Leeds Rhinos tonight 6. O'clock kick off at old Trafford a sell out 70000 crowd.. Should be a great game with the Tigers being strong favourites, but will they be able to cope with the pressure in their first ever grand final especially after dropping Zac Hardacer for disciplinary reasons..

A very hard game to call but I will go for the a Tigers to win by 8 points..

What's happened with Hardacre then? I've tried googling the forums but can't find anything

Nobody really knows,it's all speculation,Cas are saying nothing on the matter, but it must be pretty serious to drop one of their best players.. It will all come out in the wash eventually..He does seem to be a dickhead though as the Rhinos got rid of him for that reason..

It’s got potential to be a classic. Both semi finals were outstanding, particularly Cas v St Helens. 40,000 population in Castleford and 30,000 tickets sold !!!

I can't take a sport seriously when winning a round Robin at the end of the season is more prestigious than winning the league.

Completely demeans the sport in my opinion.

Depending what you read, people reckon Hardaker will still play. Some say he’s been dropped after being caught doing drugs, others saying he’s been passing on info to Leeds players.

Nothing would surprise me with that idiot.

Really hoping for a Cas win, my dislike for Leeds follows in to Rugby League.

As stated though, this should be a cracking game and really looking forward to it.

Leeds will no doubt win and will be crowned "champions" and take the big cup home despite being beaten comprehensively into runners up spot in the league.

Hardacre is a loose cannon, a complete plonkbrain.

I wouldn't care to tell him though ! !

Totally agree re: Cas v St.Helens semi. An absorbing game played at a breathless pace and with outstanding sportsmanship considering what was at stake. I don't follow rugby league too closely but if it is Castleford's first time in this fixture then I hope they do well................. especially as the opposition is Leeds.

I know where you're coming from FamilyCat but it makes for fantastic drama at the end of the season. Think the Aguero and Thomas goal every season rather than every generation

A disappointing one-sided final, Leeds bossed it from start to finish, McGuire gave a masterclass and the Leeds forwards set the platform. Cas simply didn't turn up, hard to believe that they topped the table by 10 points.
