Random Saturday fact: Adidas and Puma were started up by Germany brothers (Adolf and Rudolf Dassler). They originally started a business together but during World War 2 had a feud and went their separate ways.

Adidas got it's name because Adolf preferred to be called Adi and so combined his first and last name.. Adi Das. His brother tried Ruda, but later changed it to Puma.

And I always thought Adidas was an acronym for All Day I Dream About Sex

Maybe Puma is an acronym for Pucker Up My Adolf.

£80 for a pair of trainers made by far-eastern slave kids is outrageous.

and adidas sambas aren't even real leather any more.

Saw them in a case, in the flesh last week in Size? Manchester. Majestic. Tried them on in another colour for sizing and ordered them 'as soon as' yesterday on the app.

Seems a few of us may have them on against 'The Irons'!

Its too late now, but it was the 'Size? previews' app you needed. This app is used for exclusive releases.

Unfortunately, they were exclusive to size.

They look nice but always preferred the onitsuka tiger claret and blue efforts.

(They also have full claret with a blue logo on the side too)

The problem with light blue like that is they look like trainers for females.

Found these which are from the womens line ironically but a nice trainer.

Also these diadora ones look dapper (some of comfiest trainers I have owned have been a pair of claret and white diadora).

Me and clothes/shoes is always a case of, I'll know when I see it, whether I'll buy it. As a bloke I don't like shopping, but I can go to 20 shops with a female friend and not like anything and then I just see a pair of trainers/shoes, a pair of jeans or a polo top or a jumper and just like it and buy it. It's very much spontaneous.

I actually typed but then deleted in my earlier post that if the trainers further up were dark red I'd like them. Do you have a link of where these are sold?

Use the customiser on the NB website.

They aren't cheap however.

I had a look, but after so much scrolling, I still couldn't find them. £80 I think going off the other trainers. If you find them again, can you paste the link.

I know I'm getting old and grumpy, but - what is the point of "indoor" trainers? That is how the original Adidas pair are described.
£80 - but make sure you don't get them wet...

To be honest I thought it would be as simple as click a button and they'd be there. Not having to paintball the trainers.
