Pence knows his role, just like Tillerson. The Republican Party has always been known for it's loyalty. Gosh, they even stood behind Richard Nixon!!!

But they do have a point. There can't be two sets of laws, one for the law-abiding and one for the criminal element. Progressive liberalism can only go so far. Start publishing crime stats based on colour again, and see what you get. I think it would be very interesting.

It often seems to hold (and someone else pointed it out on here recently) that whereas centre / righties tend to think of lefties as misguided and wrong, lefties tend to think of righties as nasty people who should not be "allowed" to hold a different opinion.

Think that was me. I say it all the time, its true though. People on the right think that those on the left (not all, but many) are just misguided or naive. Where as those on the left think that those on the right are evil, cruel, nasty, selfish racists. There is genuine real hatred on a mass scale on the left for those on the right, and it's deeply embedded into our society, especially in Universities and the media. They think they are fighting a war against evil, and they are the good guys, so anything they say or do is justified because the people they do it to deserve it.
