it's be because they're ginger next

EDIT - for the obvious faux pas that I usually get worked up about (their; they're; there...!) :D

There could be some validity to his point, except he continues to say that in the last competition only Spain were smaller.
Spain always struggle don't they!

Are they small because they're always skipping their 't'?

Strachan isn’t stupid enough to think that the physical size of his squad is the issue. He spouts any old nonsense to the media - he’s admitted as much.

Yeah, Strachan's attitude to reporters comes over. He reminds me of Stan a bit.

They should start wearing trousers like the rest of us - it gets mighty cold around the Trossachs.

I don't think he's being serious. I expect he's more annoyed that but for simple defensive errors they could have been lining up for the play-offs today rather than ruing a missed opportunity, but he's just saying rubbish to the media for deflective purposes.

And another fact - you're more likely to see a unicorn in Scotland than you are to see Scotland in a major finals tournament.

We've got City beat then their attacking 5 Aguero, De Bruyne, Jesus, David Silva & Sterling averaging out at well under 5 feet 9 inches tall
Our defensive 4 Lowton Tarks Mee Ward averaging out at well over 6 feet tall
So an 8 cm discrepancy in our favour and we have a man spare and we've got Defour
Oh Gordon Strachan

Can we please stop alternating between cms. and inches. Its confusing. I wonder how that Manchester United centre forward measures up.

small people are better. They fit in bed better and take up less space on buses. Airplane travel is more comfortable and they cost a lot less to feed and clothe. They can get in and out of small windows. They don't tend to patronize and condescend like tall folk do.
