Depends on the size of the pizza and what kind of base you've opted for really.

Ideally they should be able to have an individual choice and swap slices with each other.

You've also got to take stuffed crust into the equation if they've opted for that. Plus sides you can't simply just order a pizza. Maybe Onion rings? 8 portion? Not enough. Go 2x8 not enough. 3x8? Mmmm maybe. 4x8 would be safe but you'd have some left which could cause upset and fighting over the remaining ones.

One 18" pizza is bigger than two 12" pizzas and has the added bonus of being cut with the monohedral disc tiling method meaning each of the 18 man match day squad can get a properly equal slice.
