Young Accy player passes away

Post by ClaretTony » Wed Oct 18, 2017 5:44 pm

Just read this - Jordan Moseley, a member of Accrington Stanley's U16 team, passed away suddenly last night.

Sad, sad news.

I had the pleasure of knowing Jordan and my youngest son played with him at a training academy run by two fantastic ex-pro's. To say we are all devastated by this news is in understatement. He was a very talented footballer, a great young lad and will be massively missed.

One of the hardest days of my life I've experienced since finding out this morning.

RIP Jordan, just too tragic X

Truly awful. I have a boy of a similar age and I just couldn't imagine the pain and suffering of losing him. Thoughts and prayers with all Jordan's family and friends.

Worst nightmare for his parents. Tragedy that his life was taken at such a tender age. Sincere condolences to his family.

In a year when I’ve lost my eldest son in his thirties it’s painful to think of the agony of Jason’s family loosing a son so young and obviously talented.

There are some lovely glowing tributes from former coaches in an article on the MEN website. Very sad news indeed. RIP young man.

RIP. My thoughts are very much with his family. My other half lost her son five years ago suddenly at 20 and not a day goes by to this day there are not a few tears.

For some reason its all the harder when its sudden and unexpected. God help them get through this awful time.

There was a nice tribute by John Coleman at Stanley's ground on
Granada tonight. Saying the club was in shock.

RIP
